Virtually attending? Please sign up for Twitterfone
By 3Dcamp on May 7, 2008 in Media
We’re planning to provide a live video stream of talks and panels from 3Dcamp and would like to invite remote viewers to submit questions and comments via the backchannel. This backchannel will be supported by a combination of the video service (Ustream) chatroom, Twitter and Jaiku.
Cork-based Cubic Telecom and Dublin-based Dial2Do are two of the partners behind today’s launch of Twitterfone a new voice-to-text service which records and transcribes phone calls for submission of comments to Twitter. Feedback submitted using this service will be given preference during the conference as it will allow us to directly relay your comments to speakers and panelists, instead of reading them out. So please sing up for Twitter and Twitterfone (they’re both free) today and follow the Twitter user @3Dcamp. Further instructions will follow.
